How did you feel about epilogue???
I could have done without it. I would have rather her just kept us hoping for another, or for her to write another in a few years. Truthfully, I don't want it to end.

None of us want it to end miss. It's like a decade defined by one of the best seres ever written.

the epilogue was crap. I might actually tear that two pages out of the book.

As I said to whackedtollie, I found it a bit twee, but hey, I guess the book was dedicated to true Harry Potter fans after all. I couldn't dislike it no matter what, I've been reading those books for 7 years now. This is it, though. No more books. And I don't want it to end either. I guess she's really shut all the doors, no chance Harry Potter's coming back.

I was thinking of ripping the epilogue out too. So disappointing because i was so happy with everything before it.

I don't understand why she did it. Surely someone would have told her how crap and unnecessary it was?

Also, i heard today that she's planning another.

I'm praying that this is a rumour. It's horrible that the series has come to an end but i'd rather it be finished with than see her ruin it. (After the epilogue I think this is very possible)

On a BBC interview she said that she might write a Harry Potter encyclopedia, that over the years writing she had gathered lots of stuff about Harry's world that did not make it into the books.

ha. that's ridiculous.

Apparantly, when she first wrote the epilogue it was HUGE.
There was a lot of detail and what have you, but she figured that it was too much information.

She should rewrite the whole ending to deathly hallows. It wasn't well written and it seemed so rushed. The epilogue just proved how crap the end was, Albus Severus....come on!

The thing that bugged me though was then suddenness of death and the anti-climax she created. In the "big battle" everything was like... Stupefy..Nooo i missed....Stupefy again...Got him...Yesss just dodged an Avada Kedavra spell. Noo lookout fred died...we'll put him behind this statue.

Then Voldemort came and i was under the impression he was powerful. But there was just no presence and then when harry was under the cloak, voldemort and his death eaters just crumbled like a biscuit in a cup of tea. That was a bit of a cop out.

I did really love the book though, especially the chapter on Snape.

That chapter was lovely. When Dumbledore died I kept telling everyone that he had wanted Snape to finish him, and that Snape was a good guy. Of course no one believed me. Now I have it black on white for them.

Alriight, high five! You are, seriously, the first one I know who knew that all along too. : D
Most people I know are so square. Or dumb. Either way, they couldn't figure out that Snape was good, until they read the very end. Which they haven't yet, so I'll keep my approved knowledge for myself just a little longer. Uhm...should I be posting this?

I'm not going to lie. I've always hated Snape. I didn't want to believe that he was a good guy. Now, I feel so damn GUILTY!
Kudos to you though miss. You're obviously very perceptive.

I saw a naked picture of Harry once.

But Snape wasn't really good. He only did it for L.O.V.E... and revenge, i guess. He only switched sides because Voldy killed his beloved.
