The Bronze Badge
Wow, one of your mixes is doing swell in the ratings! But remember, Bob Dole did 'swell' in the primaries...

It's been said about a million (OK, three or four) times, but In An Aeroplane Over the Sea.
In fact, I took advantage of iTunes' "Join Tracks" feature and now it's one forty-minute track on my iPod. So I couldn't skip a song if I tried.

Despite the fact that TEAM ROBOT was crushed like a Pabst can at a frat party by the might claws of TEAM MONSTER, you are still deserving of a badge... Loser.

Yeah, Ziggy Stardust always gets played in full here as well, as does Man Who Sold The World. I haven'rt listened to Aladdin Sane for a long time. Think I will try it.

as many people have said and eluded to, i get much more out of individual songs on an album when taken in context of the entire album. in other words, i prefer not to skip songs. even songs that i think are "just okay" seem to be elevated when listened to in the entire context.
however, since the thread doesn't ask whether or not we skip songs...
here are JUST A FEW that i never skip through...
slick rick's 'the great adventures of slick rick'
wu-tang clan's 'enter the wu-tang (36 chambers)'
gza/genius' 'liquid swords'
raekwon's 'only built 4 cuban linx...'
nas' 'illmatic'
krs-one's 'return of the boom bap'
boogie down productions' 'criminal minded'
the umc's 'fruits of nature'
kan kick's 'from artz unknown'
quasimoto's 'the unseen'
...again, just a few.

I played it last night. 'Cracked Actor' stood out, but it is a strong albuim. I am afraid I left my copy of Pinups back home in London though!
