description:
The hardest thing about these potpourri contests is making a mix that is actually listenable. I like every song that is on this list, even that Amy Winehouse one. But all together? That's harder to say. The title of this mix is inspired by the end of Stroszek, the Werner Herzog movie, when that chicken dances and pecks to a sped up version of a Sonny Terry song. Yee Haw.

I too was no fan of the Spin Doctors, but I like almost everything else here! Tracks 1 and 2 are incredible in fact! My friend Dick Heckstall-Smith forever cheerfully retold and retold the day he jammed with Mingus and Danny Richmond.
