description:
the pimp tapes are a mix that i started making on cassette tape probably 10 years ago i made 10 different additions on tape, then switched to digital, and have 7 or 8, maybe 9 different ones out there. i send them to all my friends throughout the country. i was listening to vol 7 in the car. looking back at the name some 10 years later, i kind of regret the name the pimp tapes... but i came up with that name years before the term pimp became repopularized
