Here is my self imposed mission, should I choose to accept it. 26 letters of the alphabet. 26 bands, one for each letter. A mix tape that can't be longer than 80 minutes. This is not my favourite band starting with each letter, but just a collection of bands starting with each letter in ordcer to make a fun mix. Let the insanity begin...

Track Description:
H is for...Hatfield and The North is a road sign you can see on roads outside of Barnet in England, as well as being a 1970's art rock band. They tried a little too hard at times, but I liked them. I always believed that a good mixtape should include some stuff the intended listeners haven't heard alongside the familiar!

U is for...U2. Why wouldn't it be? Well, they are not exactly my favourite band, that's one reason. I do like some stuff they do though. When they did their Rattle And Hum tour they were going off about discovering American music like no one else ever had, yet still I like this attempt at blues. Aww, this is amazing. All of these bands (well, most of them) were introduced to me by my substitute teacher in upper school (or whatever it's called, those classes where you're 14-16 years old) - I still have a major crush on him, partly for that!! Zeppelin, Free, Pink Floyd etc. But where is all the good Steppenwolf and Pulp and Dire Straits at? Anyway. Good selection as said by cst003. And I enjoy reading your descriptions a LOT. :)
