May 31, 2009 - one of the best Sundays I have had in a long time. I saw The Brothers Bloom and then saw Neko Case perfom live, at Red Butte Garden.
So far, I've averaged seeing one film a week, in a theater, in 2009.
Film Rating Outline:
***** ~ Loved it. Will see it again soon and/or will own it.
**** ~ Liked it. Wasn't completely won over.
*** ~ This at least got me out of the house?
** ~ Wanted to like it, but something could have been left out.
* ~ Why do I see films? I'm off to shoot seagulls with a bb gun.

Honestly, the way I found it was through a sort of weaving through other pictures. I started out searching for "Down Syndrome Tigers" (which are the cutest fuckers in the world), and it led me to Fenga Papit.

Currently digging Florence + The Machine. The debut album is out and called Lungs. And that girl can sing! Slow Club!! 39 Steps - mostly because I've been rewatching Hannah and Her Sisters over and over again. "Don't you just love songs about extra-terrestrial life?" Blitzen Trapper's live version of "Furr" and the stuff from your last mixes.
I forgot to sign up for the latest round of mix club. Maybe my subconscious was telling my conscious (???) that I was too damn busy. My best friend's getting married in less than a month. (She's going to play country music at her reception - should I invest in ear plugs?) Family health concerns. Work. Etc.
