Seeing as how I pretty much had to cook for myself from a really young age, my concoctions are probably best described as "bachelor food". My ex said she really liked my cooking, but she might have just been being sweet. She did have me cook a lot though, so, who knows, she coulda just been crazy too. I do have a few specialties that were passed down to me. I enjoy cooking. When I lived in Portland, I really enjoyed the part of my day where It would be about an hour before my gf got off from work and I would put a record on (Either Neil Young or Talking Heads) and cook dinner for us that would hopefully be done right when she got home. There were a few disasters though where that didnt happen, and I ended up ordering out. But, I dunno, its kinda relaxing to listen to some good tunes and just focus on preparing your meal.

That made me laugh! I hate the dentist guilt trips!

As soon as i get money i am going to the dentist. I never had a cavity until a little over a year ago. Now i can tell i have one or two more. :(

Im goin over to my friend Iris's house tonight because she's making Traditional Jewish Cuisine and shes having a bunch of people over. Shes a cooking machine! Just over a week ago she had everyone over for thanksgiving!

My favorite vegatables are fresh spinach and Asparagus. I dont know what happened but one day I loved asparagus.

And although i am a meat eater, i love tofu also.

There some really good vegan restaurants in Little Ethiopia.

I was actually gonna tell you anyway. I just wanted you to have to ask to hear it. Sorry, its not that good of a story, and i might have exaggerated a bit by the "saving my life" part. The first time i did mushrooms, we did them at lord bearded's house. Right after they started to kick in, a bunch of lame drunk girls came over uninvited and proceeded to really bum us out. One was crying, one broke something on accident, and (jon actually got this on video) a crazy one sat on my lap and whispered some depressing stuff in my ear and i turned towards her and asked "Why are you saying that?". Not something you want to be doing when you are starting to kinda trip out.

The general attitude around the house couldnt have gotten lower. That is until jon came out only wearing long underwear and holding glass of orange juice high in the air. He started yelling I LOVE ORANGE JUICE!. This is something that I really, really, really related to at that particular moment, and I started yelling back I LOVE ORANGE JUICE TOO! This gave the girls a hint that they were not welcome and they left.

Ta-DUH!

Yeah. I cant really decide either, but I guess Ill choose Oranges. Orange juice is awesome, and it saved my life one time. But thats just a long story...

I guess im thinking of the Zangief from Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, who is fast as shit and always puts you in those spinning piledrivers that take off all of your life. Fuck that.

My brother was always better then me at video games. One time my brother was on the last level of Mega Man 2 and I told him it was a secret to jump into the pit. He did and he died of course, because thats what happens when you jump in the pits. It was his last life and he had to start the whole game over again. I was a real prick like that.

I have since vowed to try to make it up to him somehow.
