They are, actually. In Turkey, in the winter, there are a lot of storms down south, and it can be quite aweinspiring. OK, I'm not sure if that's the term, but yeah.

As far as the voting thing goes, I used to feel the same way, but it has become blatantly evident that voting does not make a difference in this country. Maybe on smaller more localized issues, sure, but on a national scale, there is so much corruption that it doesnt matter who you vote for, because they are all on the $$$ side. So instead of feeling angry all of the time like I used to, I decided not to let it effect me at all. I live my life. The thing about politics is that it is basically agreeing to be deceived at some point. If a candidate came along that really interested me and whom I felt was legit, I would definitely vote for them. Dont forget that Al Gore was actually elected here in 2000. He ended up not being president and winning a Nobel Prize. Would he of been a great president, I don't get the feeling he would have, no. But he definitely would have been better than what we have. And thats my point, this whole picking the lesser of two evils is very depressing to me and instead of losing hope for humanity, I decided I was gonna focus on bettering myself and then take it from there.

One of my very good friends is on vacation in Australia right now and he is in Sydney. Anywhere I should tell him to go?

Thanksgiving aka Rape and Pillage day, here in the states.

I used to have to work every christmas and new years but i eventually got enough pull at that job that I would tell them I would quit if they scheduled me for them and they wouldnt.

No need to be sorry, it was a long time ago (2 decades at this point). My parents are actually really good friends now. They get along way better than they ever did when they were together. My mom always goes to my dads for thanksgiving, etc.

Damn, Chritmas presents already? You are on top of it. Im horrible at Christmas stuff. I hated Christmas for the longest time, and I couldnt figure out why, I just hated. Then one time when I was going to bed I remembered something that may or may not have had something to do with it. The last day my parents lived in the same house was on Christmas when I was like 4 or 5. They fought all day. I remember thinking I never wanted presents ever again. Then I guess i repressed the memory until a few years ago. Since then more of the memory has come back, but I decided that was a stupid reason to hate Christmas, so now for the most part I feel general apathy towards it.


I love New Years though.

I dunno how or why today worked the way it did, I guess i was just due. I did write in a journal today, so maybe that already paid off? I doubt it but whatever.

Awesome. Absolutely awesome. My mind exploded today and i found several solutions slash other ideas for some scripts strewn about in the aftermath. I think the video I shot and have been editing is turning out about 100 times better than i ever expected it to. And I've figured out a new personal project to keep me busy. Its been an awesome day. Even though i need the money, im glad i didnt need to work today.
