i saw that same tour in portland or. at the crystal ballroom. i had been a fan for like 10 years or something. and it was a dream to see them. by far my favorite of all time. well, them and tom waits are kind of tied for first.

I see you like minimalistic classical. I really do too, except my knowledge of it only consists of second hand vinyl I've stumbled across and a few things from community radio. Do you have any reccomendations for stuff like that?

(Also, I swear 2001 was #6 on the list. So majestic. There was a Kubrick exhibition in my city not long ago which was really great. I should expect to be crucified, I put Escape From The Planet Of The Apes, which is the second Planet Of The Apes sequel above stuff like 2001. I feel like a criminal.)

i have two belgian friends and their english was in no way as good as yours before they came to australia. I think your english is remarkably good for a 16 year old.

I've been to belgium actually. I'm very sorry to say that i had a horrible time! but it's nothing to do with your country! It's just that belgium was right in the middle of my trip and after months of hostels i snapped, got a hotel room and stayed in there for two days.
(it was raining outside the whole time as well) so i never got to see brussels.

so stupid of me. i did attempt to meet up with a friend of mine who comes from brussels but everything went wrong and i couldn't find her.
so i locked myself up in the room and then went to amsterdam and had a fucking good time.

arhhh ok. that makes sense cos i'm pretty sure i know all the swiss cities and i've never heard of tirol.
I've been to austria a few times but i haven't seen much of the country.

I dont live in a scary part of town so not usually; but most of the good music venues in town are in bad areas, and I don't usually feel too unsafe, but I dont like watching the news! It seems like a lot of people get shot.
