Ok, I won't seek out Cat Empire, but please don't ever think that I am in any way sensible! Would I still be making mixtapes at the age of 103 if I was sensible? Would I have willingly moved from London, the city I love for Porterville, CA, a tiny sweat soaked red neck town that does not even have a bookshop if I was sensible? I rest my case. One thing though, I am just curious about music I don't know. I have found most of the best stuff that way, and of course a whole pile of shite as well!

No no, I want to hear bands I haven't heard of in a mix of stuff I absolutely love. Many of my favorite artists such as John Martyn and Richard Thompson are pretty obscure and unknown, even in the UK where they come from.

The Halloween 2007 Badge
Happy Halloween 2007! In celebration of this event, here is a recipe to make your very own candy corn:
Combine 1 cup of razor blades, 2 cups of clown tears and 3/4 tablespoon spider eggs in a pan and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and add 2 cups hemlock and 3 ounces of fish oil. Stir until cool enough to handle. Shape and distribute.
Trick or treat!
