I know what you mean about Jonny Lang, but I thought it was important to include what some of the mainstream people had done with Robert Johnson music. I can't stand lang, but I thought it worked in the context of the mixtape. I also thought that something well known like Cream's Crossroads should be in because it probably did more to make Johnson's name well known that any other recording.

I will agree with you about the Depeche Mode song. About song 10 I like to have an intermission, usually an instrumental or something, but I had to take it out because the mixtape was 80:30 and wouldn't fit. I was pretty sad. That DM song is more of an opener, I should have used another. But... that's my story. Even a 1 minute instrumental can throw off the entire mix.
