Hey, bdo this friday, i cant believe how fast it has crept up! I still have no plans for whats happening on t he day, but i'll definitely come see Belles Will Ring. I was looking at what u were saying to sledgbrain. I would definitely recommend dr octagon if you are at all remotely fond of rap even tho he is so much more then rap. I will probably be seeing dr octagon instead of rage, or leaving half way through rage. I was actually thinking of going to his sideshow on Tuesday but i dont know yet

I havnt talked to my brother or anyone else what they wanna see, but most probably i'll be around the boiler room and the main stages. I havnt listened to the cd yet, some friends and i are going camping for new years so i decided to save it for a time when we are going to be drinking beers on the beach since its that kinda mix ;) - We are going tomorrow so i'll probably listen to it then, there is some dance festival at nelsons bay so we going to that and camping for a week. Are you doing anything for new years ? working, going to the city? You know i lived in sydney but i've never spent new years in it, i imagine it would be pretty good.

I've been to starcity... i think that's what you meant. I was off my tits though so i don't really remember it. On melbourne cup day i just went to the place i work at, panthers. It's a rugby league club and yes, it's disgusting and a horrible horrible place, but it has a good TAB.

What's development studies?
Uni does lock you in. I'm locked in and I hate it. Sometimes I get an intense urge to drop out and work off all my debt, then save and travel again. But that's exactly what I did for a few years after highschool and the whole point of me going to uni was to try to get myself focused and take some responsibility. It's not working. Now I just constantly feel shit cos I'm digging myself into a whole pile of debt and I just can't imagine myself ever using the fuckin degree. Who am I kidding? I'm not a fuckin journalist.

i am at uni. however atm im doing a bridging courses, english and sociology. im not sure what i want to do next year though, i was planning on doing development studies because its what i was always planning to do and its kinda the only field that i feel suits me for enjoyment and career. except i think i will probably just start doing an arts degree cos i wanna do creative writing and some philospy/religion then switch over. but then sometimes i think uni locks me in too much....like if there was a chance that i could join a traveling carnival or if there's a spot vacant in a circus i couldn't take that opportunity to join because i would be locked into a degree. heh anyway know u know all about it.

Yeah something definatley needs to be done. I think they should print your name on the ticket and then you show ID to get in. If you want to buy someone the ticket for a present then you just put their name on it. I don't know if that's hole proof. I guess it would suck for people that really can't go and want to sell their ticket. But it would fix a lot. This ballet thing is bullshit and doesn't help at all

Everyone should do their part. I'm a povo student with masses of debt but I'm living a very comfortable life, and that's why I give to Oxfam every month.

There were these statistics that said it would cost approximately 90million to set up an education system for everyone in Africa, which is less than what America spends on make-up in one year. It would also cost 100million dollars to feed Africa by setting up the farms etc. and thats less than what europe spends in one year on icecream.
