Irish people don't sing about Leith, but you're right, they are from an Irish family. I think most of Scotland's known musical output is dire myself

I think you are being a little unfair to scottish music. There has been some great stuff come out of scotland
and the pogues are irish so they arent ever going to make it :)

Of course I know what boke means! I'm glad someone understands me finally, I always forget that slang is different everywhere.
