Thanks, I'll look for Meiko, Marla Hansen, Jesse Sykes and the new Scout Niblett. I've been listening to a lot of Bat for Lashes, The Black Angels and (new to me) Primal Scream. Because of the intro theme to the show Damages, I've been turned on to the band The VLA. Love them too. Now I'll shut up... I don't think Bobby Bouche's mom would think you're the devil.

I just checked out Meiko and Marla Hansen. After a while they all sound like each other, but I like them anyway. Not sure if you will, but you might like Jesse Sykes. You know when you heavily shuffle your feet to a slow song. That's what her music and voice is like. I love it. I like Keren Ann's recent album. it's sad though but very touching. now - i shut up

I have the revisited album. It has definitely grown on me with every listen. I like Carla Bruni too. Do you have her first album Quelqu'un M'a Dit? I love it. She has a new one,but I haven't really given that a shot yet. I really like Camile. you, yes, no? Do people still use the word album anymore? just an afterthought..:)

Do you have the Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited album? I have four tracks from it, and it is pretty amazing. It was my introduction to Carla Bruni and I absolutely love her voice now.
