The weather has been absolutely sublime. I'm all giddy about it, in fact. The house has been great. My madre stayed here over M's Day weekend and helped me fix up a few things and do a ton of gardening. I can now officially say that my place is by far the cutest on the block.

Glad to hear the wedding was great! I'm in my dad's at a winery this weekend... it's going to be drunken madness, I'm sure.

Starting the new gig tomorrow, for a company similar to Harry & David, doing graphic design/writing/corporate accounts. A ton of room for growth, a fantastic environment, great location, and seemingly very nice and drama-free people. I'm stoked.

Egg in a hole totally makes more sense considering to be a basket it'd need a bottom of some sorts, and it lacks one. But basket sounds cuter.

I bought it last fall. Shit, I've had this place for about 10 months now. Wow. The Dalles is a fairly rustic, redneck town that is somewhat quickly movin' on up. Google just moved in here and there are a bunch of investments following suit. I'm hoping to sell this for a pretty penny in a year or two.

Well thanks for the pointage love! Yeah I update somewhat often... I get bored easily and have to keep myself amused somehow.

Eggs in a basket is when you butter both sides of a piece of bread, then cut out a hole in the middle (with a cookie cutter or shot glass), put the bread on a hot pan, and then crack an egg into the hole, which cooks there in eggy goodness. I highly recommend it. Don't forget to cook the little toast hole!

I bought my house for the fantastic price of $132,000. I have no problem giving out all the numbers. 1010 square feet, built in 1918, 3 bedrooms (or in my case, 2 bedrooms and 1 office), 1 bath, a view of the Columbias River and Mt. Adams, in a quiet neighborhood and with a pimped out hot tub. The market was killer right then.
