Yeah, I know all about the Big Freeze of '07 as I work for a fruit gifting company and we get almost all of our citrus from that area this time of year. Our fruit buyer has had a hell of a time finding stuff that hasn't been affected. Although that's nowhere near the strife that your region is under, but having grown up closely tied to agriculture through numerous aspects, I completely understand.

Yeah, the farmer is evaluating the soil in his hands. I just like to imagine stupid stuff about things because it is easier than dealing with everyday realities. The realities here are that the local economy is all but destroyed for local farmers and farm workers because of the recent freezing weather. The citrus crop has failed and that means real hardship for the folks round here. This is a poor and depressed area at the best ofn times, but now....

Oh I definitely see why you chose who you did. I guess I was just a little excited when I first saw the mix and was all ready to demand an upload link, but then was a wee disappointed. But you definitely have the musical knowledge and mixtape capacity to put out great complex and well thought-out mixes like this one. You're like a mixtaping demon.

I know what you mean about Jonny Lang, but I thought it was important to include what some of the mainstream people had done with Robert Johnson music. I can't stand lang, but I thought it worked in the context of the mixtape. I also thought that something well known like Cream's Crossroads should be in because it probably did more to make Johnson's name well known that any other recording.
