Below you will find the extracted and combined tags between johnny_luddite's and John_K's tagboard, arranged in chronological order for your viewing pleasure.Bit more than nice. I got up at 7 on a Sunday morning to watch it live here in the US. The first half we are one up and it is ok...then explosions. I saw the other two times we scored 9, in 1979 against Bristol in the old division 1, and in the early 70s when we put 9 against an Icelandic part time team in the Eufa Cup. That was the highest win my anybody in the premiership since 1995, and the first time an individual has scored five in a premiership game since Shearer in 1999. I was just a little bit pleased. By the way, Spurs highest score ever was against a team I am sure you don't like that much, Everton. What's more, it happened the day I was born and my dad missed the game because of my debut!

Nice win for Spurs yesterday, must have brought some joy to your day :-)

Interesting to see Robbie's lack of reaction when he scored.
Frustrating season, in as much as Utd won it, I believe Liverpool lost it, oh for some of those points at Anfield.

I know, 3 - 1 to Liverpool, but to be honest, at the start of the season an 8th place spot for Spurs by the end of the season looked impossible so I am not too sad

I got that match live in California I was sitting here at 2 - 0 to Spurs joking that we would probably end up losing 4 - 2 or something! Well, only one out!

and I thought Spurs could complete the job yesterday, why can't UTD lie down and be beaten like a normal team...!

I used to read a lot of Michael Moorcock as a spotty teen. Didn't touch him or any other sci-fi for thirty years, reread one of his a year or so back and that Eternal Caberet mix was kind of the result. Thanks for the kind words

Here's hoping Pete, it's slim but preserving that record would mean a lot! ManU have become the Death Star of football in recent years...

Rednapp has done wonders, our form in the last month or so is pretty hot. His approach of putting the team back together that the last guy broke up pleases the fans and gets results. In the last few weeks though, Liverpool look good again (I watch a lot of live premiership over here in the US) and with Man Utd currently on self destruct you must still have some kind of a chance

As Liverpool continue to try and claw their way back into a title race they look to have blown quite a while ago, Spurs are the only team to have beaten us twice this season.

Best match I ever saw, Spurs vs liverpool around 1970. Steve Heighway's debut, your winger Peter Thompson on fire, Pat Jennings at his peak, Spurs shading it at 1-0. I also saw Liverpool destroy Spurs at Anfield 7 -0 (1977 I think), the only time I have seen a match there.

Spurs fan eh? Thanks for the 'loan' of Keane, pity it didn't quite work out, always nice to have a fellow Irishman in red...
I'm enjoying browsing your mixes while I find my feet!
