Wanted to thank you for your comments on my latest mixes. I'll have to return the favor more often. Right now I'm watching the 1978 BBC TV serial "Pennies From Heaven", the soundtrack of which I'll be copying tomorrow and sending off to my Father for Christmas (British music from the '30s). That's just one of many musical gifts I have to prepare. I'll be posting my Christmas mix here in the not too distant future. Hope you have a good one, and a good New Year as well !

There were lots of 'Joe' songs I could have used. Joe Turner, Joe Jackson,Joe Walsh, Joe Satriani, Joe Cocker as you said (probably something from the Mad Dogs And Englishman live album). I had even thought about early British pop star Joe Brown and even Brit bandleader Joe Loss, US 70s band JoJoGunne, As for 'Joe' songs, there is 'Joe' by PJ Harvey, Say it Ain't So Joe by Murray Head, Joe Le Taxi (actually I don't think I would ever use that one) and I am sure lots and lots of others. I just felt that at around 45 minutes it had a nice balance to it and I didn't want to go on just for the sake of it. M
