I am old enough to know what I was doing the day JFK got murdered. I was six years old, and I was watching the very first ever episode of Dr Who back home in London! I was worried when I heard they were bringing it back, but the new series 3 (being shown in England right now, but you can find it on the web if you look hard enough) is pretty good. I love the old stuff though!

interesting. i'll have to check that out. i've always been in love with smokey robinson - pretty much since he came on sesame street and did "U really got a hold on me" with the giant blue "U." it's nerdy that i remember. also, your mix for osborne should win. it's very sweet, and the best thus far.

"You really got a hold on me." I have liked it so much since I was six or seven and I still love it today. Actually, Smokey rerecorded it with Jools Holland's band a couple of years back, and that version is brilliant too.

why, thank you :) and which song is your favorite, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks. I liked The Style Council, although I much prefer The Jam and Paul Weller's early solo stuff much better. I wqas put off the Style Council a bit when I saw them live in the 80s. Their drummer Steve White did the most self indulgent drum solo I ever saw, and remember, I lived through the 70s!
