PS. I also dont find it lame that I do this, because I find it pointless to burn a CDR of only four or five songs on it. I also find it lazy, and unresourcefull. But it is my opinion, and instead of pushing it on other people and punishing them for it, I decide to not get involved AND LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT. Which is something you should let me do.

i agree with the points scamming point that you brought up, i hate it when people post a new mix every day..

different genres, no transtitions, different beats... that all kills the shit outta me , cause they got more points..

Sorry, but I dont like short mixes, and instead of rating them negative points like a few people on this site do, i choose to not rate it out of respect. I started to do this because there started to be some people, and there has been since, that put out a short mix a day for like a week to rack up points. With that said, I have made many exceptions to this rule when I feel like it warrants it. See my score of alice's "30 under 30" mix, for an example. But as a general rule of thumb, I use the "no decision" technique, because I feel like that is the fairest way to do it. And to be quite honest, most of the mixes that are really short, tend to have music I absolutely despise on it. I dont know why, but that is how it has mostly turned out, so me giving it a 0 is my way of being kind as well.

cause some tapes warrant a short mix.
if the tape is too long, you might change it when it gets to slow/fast.

Sometimes people enjoy mixes for something special, that may not last 45 minutes. You should rate mixes for what they are, not for the length, but for the overall expierence they get from the tape.

I.E. if someone gave me a tape about ADD, i wouldnt expect it to be more than 20 minutes long.
