(i grew up in one of those Christian-music-only houses. lame to the max! my friends at school would give me tapes/CDs though, so it was cool. i also had to convince my mother that Billy Corgan & Kurt Cobain loved Jesus)

Haha, yeah I had a nirvana phase, but I was like 11 when kurt died. I definitely did a lot of listening to my parents records though. My mom gave me Joni Mitchell, The Stones, Nick Drake, Loudon Wainwright III, and Leonard Cohen, while my Dad gave me The New York Dolls, The MC5, The Stooges, Television, and The Velvet Underground. No wonder they got divorced.
