This mix started out as a playlist containing over fifty tracks. I made the playlist because I had been reading in Rip It Up and Start Again quite a bit and had watched Urgh! A Music War. I was listening to a lot of tracks similar to these. Day by day, I whittled the list down to these sixteen songs. The mix happened to fit on a sixty-minute cassette. This has been a helpful mix for long days at work doing mind-numbing, data entry nonsense. These are the sixteen songs that drew me in the most. To me, the mix has some gravity, and I keep listening to it over and over.

The 250th Album Badge
Some real winners here, derhay. I read Simon Reynolds' book a couple of years ago and for doing so I can better appreciate this playlist all the more. Cheers.
