There was never a time when the world began, because it goes
round and round like a circle, and there is no place on a circle where it begins. Look at my watch, which tells the time; it goes round, and so the world repeats itself again and again. But just as the hour-hand of the watch goes up to twelve and down to six, so, too, there is day and night, waking and sleeping, living and dying, summer and winter, spring and autumn. You can't have any one of these without the other, because you wouldn't be able to know what black is unless you had seen it side-by-side with white, or white unless side-by-side with black. How would you know what happiness is without having felt sadness?
Winter this year, for me, was spent indoors, curled in blankets watching tv and ignoring friends. But there comes a time when feeling subsides, and life moves on.
My point is, life is a circle, and we go round and round. It is natural part of life to feel sad and what is important to remember is, that life is just a ride. And like a ride it comes back around, just as winter comes around to being summer. So we should remember not to let our minds race from past to future but focus now on the present and go with the flow. This is personal mix for myself this summer, Self Affirmation through music; a selection of songs that bring me to embrace myself. Summer is a time for going to the beach, sitting around, and enjoying a few beers with your mates, it’s not a time for being inside yourself. Now is the time to turn and face life once again and...
