This is fucking awesome. The connection between early blues and early country is here, my favorite ever country song (Mama Tried) is here, this is just wonderful. My take on a country mix would also be to pick tracks that are country influenced, or that influenced country in some way so I am knocked out by this.

By the way, I was listening to a 1970 acoustic Dead show from 1970 on archive.org and there was a really slow country version of Friend Of The Devil on it. Worth a listen.
