The Halloween 2007 Badge
Happy Halloween 2007! In celebration of this event, here is a recipe to make your very own candy corn:
Combine 1 cup of razor blades, 2 cups of clown tears and 3/4 tablespoon spider eggs in a pan and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and add 2 cups hemlock and 3 ounces of fish oil. Stir until cool enough to handle. Shape and distribute.

i like bukowski as well, not so much shame though.. its good when you have older brothers who have discovered the good writers as they have gotten older. but then you get into it at an early age because they introduce it to you. I would suggest you to read the first one, The House of the Spirits, then. Reminds me, I still need to watch the adaptation. Besides that novel, the one that made the biggest impact on me is The Infinite Plan, and also Shadow and Love. :)
By the way, Portrait in Sepia is a sequel to Daughter of Fortune, so you could read that first.
