Below you will find the extracted and combined tags between ParYen's and Bea's tagboard, arranged in chronological order for your viewing pleasure. What's new other than an incomplete bike shed? You're not posting any mixes as of late?

They do play, alright, and let me tell you something. This mix is HAUNTING GOOD. Seriously, all the tracks had that same Halloween mood to them, it is nearly the length of a real mixtape, it's all hip hop (impressive(!)) and I think you're a genius for using an X-Files inspired song. Very thorough. Very thorough. :)
8/11/07 2:52am
yeah, the generic 'track 1', 'track 2' names are all my doing/fault/etc. BUT at least the tracks play.
8/10/07 7:56pm
Wow, you're beyond great! No problem with downloading or playing them, no. Only thing is there is no data on the tracks (title, artist, album etc.), but I'll add that myself, I guess. :)
THANKZ.
THANKZ.
8/10/07 12:10pm
say no more... you'll know them soon enough. stay tuned.
8/9/07 5:02pm
Well, actually, I love your Halloween mix too, even though I don't know the songs on it... I mean, your story kicked ass. :)
8/9/07 12:06pm
glad you like it. let me know if there are any others you're interested in.
8/7/07 7:52am
Hiya, I never got to thank you for the mix (High School Beatdown) after I made it... THANKS, it rocks. And my brother liked it, too.
Yeah, thanks. :)
Yeah, thanks. :)
8/6/07 2:59pm
No problem at all. I'll make it a mixtape later today. Thanks!!
7/10/07 4:13am
I just logged in, and saw the message with the sendspace link. Thank you. I've never used sendspace before, but I think I'm doing alright (88% of the download complete as we speak).
I remember that you wrote that in your decription to "Do My Thing". That's cool. I would very much like to have a song like that.

7/8/07 9:10am
no lika the busta, huh? that's okay. i love that busta track, 'do my thing.' it reminds me of being on a pirate ship (not that i've been on one...)
7/7/07 8:33pm
I know. And I'm most definite it was to some pusher fuck and his pusher queen, because I once saw a couple who walked a dog, that looked ex-actly like Diego, and they called him Diego too. That makes me even more miserable. Since when has beating done any good to any one, man kind or dog? I don't know, man. I'll shut up about it now, I think. And instead go listen to some Paula Fuga. :)
7/7/07 11:58am
OK, so I'm back. Uhm I can see that I already gave you the missing tracks. Alright. Well, I'd love to have a dog like that too, so I hope you'll get them soon enough! :)
My brother had an amstaff for almost a year... Although I'm not so sure he had it just for company. Anyway, I loved the bastard. But then he moved some place with his girlfriend, where, again, pets aren't allowed, so they sold Diego (that's his name (the dog)).

08# Muzik Appreciation

(Plus, I could only find "Ain't the Devil Happy" as a remix, but it's still good, so I don't know---)

let me know the ones you didn't get, when you have a chance.
and unfortunately, that's not my dog... yet. no pets allowed in this here apartment complex. as soon as we get to another spot, we're getting two of them.

PS. You've got the cutest dog of all time.
PPS. I will definitely look up Paula Fuga when I get home. (Duty calls).

I purchased them all. :) Do they run the Coke campaign in the States as well? Anyway, here you can collect Coca Cola points, and get free iTunes songs. Plus I had 20 codes from a previous purchase of a magazine subscription. Anyway, I think my account says "5 free songs" now. :) I really like it! The mix, I mean. Expect Busta Rhymes, but that's just me.
Haha, I wish I had known that you would send it to me. Hm, another mix another time? :) I still need some songs to complete it though.
And you know what? When it's complete, I think I'm gonna send my brother a copy. :D

you should check out Paula Fuga and see if you like her music...

did you actually purchase those songs on itunes or just listen to the :30? you're one dedicated person if you bought them! i was going to probably send that mix your way this weekend!
no, don't listen to that dubee sugawolf song = not similar

OK, so iTunes had the following songs: Runnin' (The Pharcyde), Dog It (Digable Planets), Ready or Not (Fugees), Love Me or Leave Me Alone (Brand Nubian), To All The Girls (Wyclef Jean), Playaz Club (Rappin' 4-Tay), Do My Thing (Busta Rhymes), and The Traveler (Guru).
And then I found a song called Flip Da Script, but it isn't by anyone called Da King & I, but someone called Dubee AKA Sugawolf. Hm, are they similar?
Anyway, the rest I will try and look up on Limewire.

Sure thing, will do!
Haha, that's true. He likes to act all tough and cool and frightening, that son of a bitch. :)

let me know if you're able to track down all those songs on that mix and/or if there are ones you can't find.
scarface and tony montana is a big gangster icon for a lot of rappers, and they seem to always reference him. so with that list of artists you had mentioned, i assumed that he'd be into that as well.

You totally nailed it. :) M-hm, he's not very serious about music, he likes what on air most of the time. Last week he also gave me two of his CD's: Dr. Dre Presents Mega Big Gangsta Rap and Dr. Dre Presents More Mega Big Gangsta Raps. Hm!
Oh yes, he LOVES Scarface. :) Everyone I know, who's watched it, does, actually. Maybe I should watch it too. Is loving Scarface also a part of the "G" style?
Now I'm gonna resume where I left it at last night and bring that "High School Beatdown" mix to an actual mixtape.

well i'm not saying that i know what kind of person your bro is :)... just that if he puts j.lo, knoc-turn'al, nate dogg, nelly, fat joe on his rap mixes, then he's coming from a very commercial, club friendly, radio/television friendly, pop angle. and that's not criticizing that music; just the way it is. i understand your "G" comment now, because that music tends to emphasize the "street/club/flossin/gangsta/bling/whips/etc." does your bro like scarface, just curious?
7/5/07 5:48pm
You do? Tell me, what kind of person is my brother based on his influences? :) Or simply: what are his influences?
I'm taking a look at your High School Beatdown mix right now, and again: hard time finding the songs. But I'm on it. Hehe, I'll give the mix CD's a listen too.

i don't know, i guess there could be some okay stuff every now and then. afu-ra has a few decent tracks. but from the names of artists you've mentioned so far, i think i know where his mixes are coming from. kind of different from the stuff i mostly listen to. you'll have to determine yourself!
7/5/07 4:38pm
Oh? I just did, as a matter of fact. I'm not sure what the track list says, he has an awful hand writing. Hmm.... 'Knoc-tum Al'?, and uhm 'Nate Dogg' plus 'Afu Ra' (shieet, I don't know - it's real hard to make any sense of it)? Does it ring any "good stuff"-bell? I can throw it back if not.
I certainly will listen to your other mixes, that's a brilliant idea! I'm on it. Thanks. :)

no, don't bother digging those mixes up if those are the kinds of songs on them... you don't want to be listening to that stuff. :)
not to sound conceited or anything, but you should check out my other mixes for some good hip hop. and i'll see about getting some stuff your way.

AND I can't find that soundtrack either. iTunes keeps coming up with songs by Alicia Keys...
It's nice to meet someone who's into hip hop, I would very much like to expand my knowledge on that area. My brother would always give me hip hop mix CD's, but I don't know-- none of it really stuck, I didn't want to listen to a mix which had J. Lo, Nelly and Fat Joe on it. :(
Maybe I'll dig them out of whatever hole I threw them in.

I think Amazon.com would be way expensive for me... Is Dudley Perkins an unknown artist?, cause if not, I'll try and track him down in record stores.
I liked you I heard, a lot!! That's why I tagged your mix like that, heh.
Daryl Dragon and Toni Tennille? Aw man, why don't I know about them?
If possible, could you/wold you (bother) sending me some of those songs? And I'm glad to hear, that I had at least 'street' right.

so in the grand scheme of things, i guess, no you're not that far off in calling it street. but i don't know about G.
:)
:)
7/5/07 3:29pm
well, a few on here you could say are 'street' but to someone who listens to a wide array of hip hop, most wouldn't be considered as such.
#2 is a symphony from the soundtrack to the film 'unbreakable.' #12 and #13 are awesome... if you can you should try to listen to them. in fact, you should listen to this album all the way through. i love it:

I'm not very fond of illegal downloading, but I'm gonna have to respond 'LimeWire' to that one.
I CAN'T FIND #2 AND #3 ANY WHERE. SERIOUSLY. Which bugs me.
And no, I don't know those artists. Except for Nelly F., but that's obvious. Am I completely off then ?

how did you get a hold of 'neglected' by the way?
you should listen to #2, #3, #10, #12, #13 if possible... do you know who any of those artists are?

Gutterfly, Winter Warz, Back in the Day, Neglected, and Cali Cruisin'. Apart from Neglected, it just said "street" to me.
7/5/07 3:05pm
G? That's "gangsta". I just listened to the few songs, I could track down on your mix, and I figured out the "style" of it.
