I've been to belgium actually. I'm very sorry to say that i had a horrible time! but it's nothing to do with your country! It's just that belgium was right in the middle of my trip and after months of hostels i snapped, got a hotel room and stayed in there for two days.
(it was raining outside the whole time as well) so i never got to see brussels.
so stupid of me. i did attempt to meet up with a friend of mine who comes from brussels but everything went wrong and i couldn't find her.
so i locked myself up in the room and then went to amsterdam and had a fucking good time.

We see a lot of English tv shows in Belgium, and we have one of the best school systems in the world they say. Not that I am enjoying it.
I'm sometimes amazed at how people who have never been to europe look at it, they see europe as something totally mythical. My argentinian cousin got heaps of envy-OMGURINEUROPE-emails from her friends when she came over.
Don't ever visit Belgium though. It's very uninteresting. Stick to Switzerland. I think train rides there would be far more enjoyable. Trains are love. How is Australia?

Allright. I'm an idiot xD
When I go on holiday, we usually do France-Switzerland-Austria. And I keep mixing up the regional maps in my head. Tirol is in Austria, obviously.
I'm from Flanders, so I speak Flemish. But I'm half French though, so I also speak French.
I love the big botanical garden in Geneva...and 'La villa rose'. The big pink villa in the park, next to the WTO. My dad studied there. Ahhh...beautiful views on the lake. You got me in swiss mode here!
