My dad has a clogged heart valve. He was supposed to go to surgery on Monday, when I was there, but it was postponed again. His kidney's have to be stronger, and he has new doctors so they want to make sure everything is ok. It's a little frustrating, but it's good to be safe.

I used to hate it when my mom freaked out. She was a constant in that she would yell at me, leave the room, come back yell some more, leave, and then come back and yell some more. It was quite draining. My dad thought so too. He believed the one stern talk, silent treatment and then call it a night. I preferred that method.
Oktoberfest was good- ate,drank,ate, drank, drank, drank, ate, drank, drank, drank, drank. I was totally done and got home in the morning.

I've been busy, too, that's why I can't find time to be on the Internet... School's kind of over, because all we do is talk about the forthcoming two exams and tests we have to do in June, then we're on break. So I've been busy doing good stuff instead. :)

it was just a week of non-stop non-stopping. work all day, play all night and play and play and play...i woke up looking like nosferatu....a sign when you need to cool it. so i played nice this week and now, oh NOW, my friend is having an oktoberfest party tonight, tomorrow is an arts festival under the Brooklyn Bridge and SUNDAY is the Atlantic Antic- which is just an excuse for people to eat, drink and listen to live music in the street. It happens once a year. It' a nice way to end the summer in NYC!!! I'll take pics!

I have turned in to an Insomniac this Summer, yes. But I actually do stuff to keep me busy and to make me tired so I can get the fuck to sleep. I went to the library with my little sister today, and I brought home five big novels (including Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, yes) plus a book of erotic Italian short stories (I SWEAR I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT ENDED IN MY BACKPACK; my sister must've scanned it when I was doing something else). That's actually a quite embarrassing thing to write. I have no idea why I just did then. But hmm... I might as well give it a look, eh? ..... God, and she's not even six yet. =/

I went to the library with my little sister today, and I brought home five big novels (including Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, yes) plus a book of erotic Italian short stories (I SWEAR I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT ENDED IN MY BACKPACK; my sister must've scanned it when I was doing something else). That's actually a quite embarrassing thing to write. I have no idea why I just did then. But hmm... I might as well give it a look, eh? ..... God, and she's not even six yet. =/

Well I really really hate mine... My father just kicked my brother out of his diner where he works, because he didn't show up sometimes due to his girlfriend who would be at home trying to OD herself or cut her wrist... My brother's chainsmoking like hell, and I feel like shit for him. He's got no job, no education (because he went for the job thing), he doesn't love his suicidal girlfriend anymore but can't really leave her like this either, and he's got himself into some serious dept. I'm really trying to raise a few bucks for him atm, so I'm not going anywhere as of now it seems. Unless he doesn't mind me moving in with him and helping him out a little. He lives ten minutes from my school anyway, I think it'd be perfect.

don't become a druggie or drinkaholic. Save up and move out. I don't know if you work, but that helps. Once you are out, you can appreciate your parents a whole lot more. I did and believe me, they, we, are all dysfunctional. I just stopped going home. I crashed with people until I got my own place. I was working and going to school so I wasn't just vegging out...ok, sometimes I did...but you will find your way. ok was that cheesy?
