CEILING CAT WATCHES ME!

I'm halfway through it, but havn't touched it in a few days. It's a bit too difficult and seemingly aimless for me. It seems this time round it's all concept and no substance, as opposed to HoL where the layout concepts enhanced the book. Its still ok though, just not something I would have read without his name on it personally.

I just got Danielewski's latest in the mail today. I haven't been this happy in ages.

Oh man, I was making a mix and now it's messed! I have finalised it or whatever yet, but there is this big wad of text which makes no sence and is in the wrong place, it also links ot making the cover art full size... yeah, it's wierd and it's YOUR job to fix it

If you are going to re-read it, I reccomend taking a good look at the collages at the back, there is huuuuuuge amounts of things to ponder over in there. The letters from his mother aswell, and for a big mind fuck, read the first letter of footnote 27, and the first letter of the next 12, and put them together. Wierd stuff.

Seriously, HOL has to be one of the greatest literary acievements of our time. I blew threw it and have been trying to find the time to reread it. It's so amazingly dense.

House Of Leaves is like some kind of religious experience, I loved it. I tried to pre-order the new one, but all of the first press is reserved, so looks like I'll have to wait. I've spent far too many man hours re-reading and delving deeper and deeper into that book, it makes me incredibly happy.
