Below you will find the extracted and combined tags between johnny_luddite's and JK's tagboard, arranged in chronological order for your viewing pleasure.Peter did a couple of low key gigs in Holland early in the year. The band he played with were very supportive and Peter played more guitar than when he was in The Splinter Group. He has done some recording with Pete Brown but it seems uncertain if any of this stuff will come out. As far as I knew, he was living in Southend. His nephew Joe Green has a band and is based there.
Looking forward to the next mixes.

Richmond or thereabouts. What's Peter up to now? Wikipedia puts him in Yarmouth.
Thanks for your kind words on the mix. I've made two more parts so I'll post those over the next few weeks. Lightning Hopkins on one of them. I hope you like them.

So you must have lived in Richmond, Surrey or thereabouts? Also true story, I was involved in Peter Green's comeback as part of his management team in the late 90s. His illness led people to believe he was dumb in some way, but I saw so many examples of his wit. When asked if he believed in an afterlife by the singer Linda lewis for example, he replied "I'm not sure I believe in this one"

Think it's called Edge of the World. It was before he met up with Pressburger. Very mdoern in some of the affects he's using.

The remote Scottish Island movie. Is that "I Know where I'm Going'?

Jealous that you attened a Michael Poweel lecture. Haven't actually seen 'Peeping Tom' even though I keep meaning to. Seen all the big Powell & Pressburger films though: Canterbury Tale, Red Shoes, Black Narcissus, IKWIG, Blimp, Matter of Life and Death, and Powell's first film about a remote Scottish island. Really want to see Tales of Hoffman as well but can't find it anywhere.

I got to attend a lecture by Michael Powell shortly before he died. Peeping Tom is also on my top five list. The Archers were awesome!

Cheers. Powell & Pressburger are the most genius filmmakers ever. 90% of the time A Matter of Life and Death would be one my top five films but was in mroe of a Colonel Blimp mood when I made that list.

Had to give you +5 for the Powell and Pressburger inspired picture. 'A Matter Of Life and Death' is my favourite movie. Colonel Blimp is good too!
