It's a cocktail, but about 70% of it is alcohol. Most of them are liqueurs but it's still extremely potent. It's a bad idea to do more than one in a night. I learnt that the hard way.

once for a party we made hulk punch, which was a garbage can full of 151, blue curacao and sweet n sour...I got messed up

absolutely. but i had a hulk imbetween so i got pretty fucked up.
