your defining moment sounds much more exciting than mine. in hindsight, i don't know how exciting watching a sixth grader prance around in a purple outfit would be. now if you were making out with your girlfriend in a purple spandex sparkle-laden getup -- that would be something to see.

One like myself could wish to have had an experience as monumental as your ice skating experience... Alas, my defining moment was in my sophmore year of high school, in which I made out with my girl friend in the back of her dad's 86 Camero listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd... A sad & true story...

in 6th grade i did an ice skating routine to "tears in heaven". i was also wearing a purple leotard/dress full of sparkles. i pretty much consider it as one of the most defining experiences in my life.
