my interest in italy is that its the one place i've always dreamed of going. i suppose i've always had a romantic notion that it would be outstanding in many many ways.

basically i'm envious that you lived there -- even if it was on the pretense of a messed up relationship.

I lived in Ravenna, which is in the north. Why? Well, I started dating a Italian girl in San Fran. After about seven months she needed to move back and wanted me to come with her. That's how it happened. It was probably the greatest experience of my life, even though the relationship was kind of fucked. I miss Italy a lot.

well, you seem to enjoy having long pointy things in your mouth when you get your picture taken. you like whiskey, which in itself is enough of a reason to deem you as crazy -- that stuff is putrid. you're from rhode island, which is self explanatory. i went to ohio once. it was hot and nasty. talk about sweaty armipts. that's not a good way to get a date. overall, you seem pretty cool, and for what reason i'm not sure. but the feeling is undeniable. my conclusion is that one of us is crazy, and its certainly not me.
