My point is, I don't want to be one of those people who in 5-10 years time misses Hannah Montana. I really don't. :(

If I was idiotic enough to buy into the following trends: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Disney Channel Original Movies, ... the list goes on. The point is, in about 5-10 years from now people will be saying "What happened to the good old days? Things like High School Musical and Hannah Montana, we need things like that." It's sad, but it's the truth.

As I said, I can't stand them emo kids. I generally can't stand kids, hm.

My younger cousins LOVE Disney's High School Musical, they think it's a very realistic picture. And I suppose you're right, MCR are too angsty for their likes. It's either "Hang 'em high, kid", or it's "K-k-keep your head in the game" (I think that's a line from the "movie"-- I mean, er, "musical"...

Ooh, yeah, the 12-and-under thing puts a damper on it.
My friend went to a show, and was completely rocked off of his ass, but couldn't hear most of the music over the two girls screaming next to him.

I'm trying to come with terms with them, but I think they are great at what they do. Which is tailor to the prepubescents too angsty for High School Musical. Just my opinion.

Hey, that's awesome. Did I recommend it to you? Yay that you (may start) like them, again. :) I think they are terrific. The only reason I don't think it's "cool" to be an MCR fan anymore, is that the average age of participants at the concert in April was 12, at least. :(

Hey, so I heard that song "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance for the first time today, and it was way better than I expected. I used to be into MCR when - well, let's face it - I was a loser. Total, complete loser. But this makes me think I like them.
