This is the story of how I met Griffin:
This past school year I was an 8th grader at Aptos M.S. I decided to apply to SOTA for Creative Writing. When I went for my audition the other applicants and I had to wait in the hallway for a while. While sitting there, this motley crew of other kids came over. They introduced themselves, and one of them was Griffin. I remembered a friend of mine (who was already attending SOTA) who had told me about a friend of his named Griffin, so I asked if this was he. When he replied in the affirmative he stole my iPod for a few seconds, looked at the groups I had, and proclaimed me one of his heroes for having such great music. Later that evening I found Griffin's myspace and asked to be his friend.
That's about it. He's an awesome guy.

Anyway, where do you go to school? I got into SOTA, so I'm going there.

You also seem to dig good music. I've never met anyone else who likes Howlin' Wolf.
