I hear you, but sometimes in a small space a fish is the best idea. Plus, the shedding hair is ridiculous, and i think bull dog hair is short and spiny = bad, but cute.

haha, well thanks for that. i'd definitely say it's worth seeing at some point. i can't get a french bulldog now because my apt complex doesn't allow pets. and the people that do have them illegally, have "quiet" pets like cats or huge lizards. and i'm not moving for another 4 years (unless somehow i can buy a condo or something before then). i do have a fish, though. he's pretty cool. really cool, actually.

I can't believe you said the word mulch, of all the things you could have compared your opinion to. I do trust it though, the movie recommendations I get are usually lame, or the people I go wth are lame. I respect your taste more than some people I actually know, and considering that Christian Bale is so "selective' about his roles, it can't really be bad, right? Also, you gave me the hints for the chess, and I appreciate that.

my opinion is "like gold", huh? haha... well, the prestige is good in its story development. the character dev. is just slightly lacking, but it didn't affect anything for me. and even when you have a sense of what's happening with the story, it still delivers. at least i thought. but i seem to like movies, recommend them to people, and then they end up not liking them. so who knows... maybe 7 out of 10 for me.

do you have a set already? you can find one REAL cheap. and get a book... for example, for $0.75 you can pick up 'chess for dummies' online. but make sure you have a set so as you read you can follow along with the motions. i'd really recommend learning. it's a great game.
