I have a few ideas, but I've been working and then my hardrive decided it didn't exist anymore. All this is fixed now though. So I'm calling serious mix action. I need some hot level up action too.

I would say they do. The "sold out" thing was a semi-joke I guess. I liked the recent one of the murdered phone box.

I'm not sure how much it costs though. I've seen it range from £25 to £10 depending on where you look. Try Amazon I guess. It's got some great stuff in it, and also some great writings.

How much was wall and piece? I haven't looked into it very much, but I heard it's kind of a "best of" from the 4 black books.

Don't you think the pros outweigh the cons? He's taken too seriously sometimes.

I think it has its pro and its cons. His work is getting ever more adventurous with increases in available funds (I think he works as a graphic designer for a real job), but also it's leaning towards what he originally lashed out against in the art world. The whole idea of an "artist" as such, the idea that a work of art belongs to its creator as opposed to those who want to enjoy it. I dunno. I got wall and piece and you can sort of see his work change over time as he gained more of a reputation.

I still like his work though and I tend to take the idea of the artist and thier art being completely seperate even though each can give you a better understanding of the other.

ahhhhh, I hear you man...but he's been doing commissions for a long time, and books for a long time as well, all while making people laugh all over the world. It was bound to happen.
All those big fuckers sell out at some point, some just in a "classier" way. Sell out or not, the guy is making money with his art work, which is a task in itself, plus he needs to eat food.

p.s. It could be worse, he could be Shepard Fairey.
