Peter Green and Syd were the two I had in mind when I started the mix. I was researching someone else when I read about DMX in an article which pointed me to that track, and thematically, if not musically, it fit!

Modern fake Californian ska I hate, but growing up in London when I did original Jamaican ska and reggae were everywhere and I loved it. I also enjoyed a lot of the English revival stuff which turned up in the wake of punk. We will just have to differ on this one I guess.
