Oh, probably just dick around for awhile. I'll probably try to get a summer job, and drive around in my bright green car and swim in the river and all that fun summer stuff. But I'm taking a year off from school, so I'm not gonna go to college till next year. It'll be a good vacation from all the stress school entails :)

No, I still don't have my license because I have bad eyesight and I had to get glasses. Which really sucks because I don't have insurance so they cost a ton. I get them tomorrow, then I can get my permit, after which I have to wait something like 6 months before I can actually get a driver's license.

The DMV is supposed to be the place where you get licensed to drive, register your car so you can drive it legally, etc... but it turns out that it's really a hole of incompetence where you have to wait for 4 hours to get anything done! It's a commodity that we Americans resent but have to live with. It's really not fun.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited about an event. In my life. HONEST. Portishead equals so much emotion and love. Tegan and Sara is not going to happen, though, because I will be in Rome that week with my class mates. Too bad.
Sounds cool with the Redwalls. I'm sure there will be other interesting acts in those coming months. Going to so many concerts can be really expensive, though. The tickets for Portishead go for around 72 bucks, and I'll buy my Menomena ticket on the same day, so my ass is very broke next month.

Thanks :D I got really mad when I wrote that because while my town is probably the most ethnically diverse city in the US, one of our suburbs, Rio Linda (home of the famous asshole Rush Limbaugh) is famous for being total hickville.
Aside from that, I have two really good friends who are gay but can't tell their parents. Tyler, my best friend's boyfriend, has a mom who won't let him go to the area of the city where we live because she thinks he's seeing a boy here (which he is). Meanwhile, his dad calls gay guys fags and stuff like that. The other one, Leonard, well... his family is black and, at least in this area, the black community is not exactly universally accepting of gays.
So yeah... it's kind of a big deal for me. :P

Lucky! Haha. Well our teachers make us stay in class unless we have a pass out, and then if class isn't in session you aren't allowed to leave the school if it's a closed campus. It's kind of like prison sometimes, especially at the school I went to where they had bars on all the doors and windows...

This blows my mind. People do that all the time, don't they? Well, they do here. We do. And if we don't show up in a class, the teacher simply add that to our absence--this-semester-in-whole, and when that reaches a certain percent, like, 10 %, you have to talk to the head master about your situation, and most people just get warnings and pick it where they left. Like uni. O.K. I don't know about that last part with the head master, if that's how it works in uni as well, but really, the teacher can't say ANYTHING if you decide to leave in the middle/at the beginning of his/her lesson. They just note it.

Oh it was a big scandal... I was apparently off campus so they kicked me out for too many closed campus violations -- but I hadn't left yet when they caught me. I was really upset when that happened.

My teachers have always told me I was really great at writing, but once I was in 3rd grade and I showed my teacher a story and she said, "Maybe you should figure out what happens next before you write any more." Haha. I've been trying to do that my entire life.
There's one (very short) story up on my MySpace right now... I like it. And then there's some of the articles I wrote, but looking back, I don't think I want anyone to see many of those :P

Haha, yeah, if you want! I am looking for a job... the market's a little slow for 16-year-olds in the middle of July though... at least, at the mall, where all the good jobs are. I suppose I should expand my search a little, but I really want to work in the same place as my fag, and he's probably going to go back to his old job at the mall, only for a lot more money.

Well, I don't know. It was a bit harsh, I think, because I went from feeling "understood" to "fucking naive". And nothing bugs me more than being tagged "naive". One of my classmates once left me a voice mail when he was drunk; he called me a dyke and what-not. I wasn't bothered though. He's the kind of guy who screams 'Pusseeeeyy!!" in party videos; he walked up to me on the first day of school and said, Björk is the most disgusting, freakish Icelandic ever (because I was listening to Post while solving math); he listens to heavy metal and grindcore and shit like that; he hates Sepultura because they got a black member, and he's fucking fat and can't get laid because of that too, that fucking fat piece of shit. Fortunately he couldn't deal with high school either, so he quit around Christmas.

Yeah. Oh god, you know what's so sad, I remind myself so much of Grace Adler. She and I have so much in common: both Jewish (although I am an Irish Catholic convert, lol), red hair, gay best friend, paranoid neurotics with crazy mothers, haha.
As for my "Will", he's actually bisexual, like me, so we can talk about both guys and girls together. It's pretty great. But I feel bad, because every relationship he's been in since he started dating guys (and guys exclusively) has been bad so far... and finally, when he's with someone who genuinely likes him, he's questioning the relationship because it's his most recent ex, Kevin's old boyfriend, who Kevin would talk about just all the time, and that's why they broke up. It's very faggish and such. I just feel kind of bad.. the kid tries, but he never gets a break. :P
Anyway... it's got its perks, but you also have to remember... hags have to deal with all the drama!

I once had a crush on a girl's little brother the day I met him; his sister and I go to high school together, and in January we had arranged an evening for people who considered starting on our school after summer, and that's how I met him; he was one of the new students who probably will start in summer. So after that we went to a small pub, and I really thought it went well. We constantly talked, him and I, even though it was mainly about South Park and World of Warcraft-- I don't know, I can't help myself most of the time--, I borrowed his Jack the Pumpkin King bicycle gloves etc. And a few weeks later, I met his sister in the hall at school (PS. I also have a crush on her, but anyone who meets her will totally understand my situation - she is so kind and funny, it kills me), and when I casually asked how her brother was doing, she replied, Oh, he's fine - you know, he's come out to us.
Then again, he digs Alicia Keys, so I should've seen it coming. And straight girls I got a tale about too. Cause the girl, I've been telling you about in the last tags-- the photographer, you know--, well, she's pretty damn straight. She's not very tall, she takes pictures for a little group of club kids (also seniors, so I won't be seeing them next year either) who dress out in themes every Monday (it's actually them on the art cover of my latest mix, gotta love em'), she's got French features (very sexy, I know), she's super foxy whatever she does; play guitar, smoke a fag, it doesn't matter. And at the very last party before the exams began, I found myself flirting with her at distance; she would be on the stage dancing with her friends, and I would yell things to her she couldn't hear. Or when she sat with her friends at a table near the bar, I would walk up to the bar and just keep fucking smiling at her from where I stood. I've never ever talked to her, though, only her clubber friend, who invited me to a Trentemøller concert that same night, because she could tell (like everyone else at the party could) that I had this crush on her friend, and they were going too. Omg, that's awesome. I can't find anybody to move in with me, everybody's happy at home with their parents, and I'm not sure how to afford it on my own. And my parents would never do anything to help me. But 700-800/month, that's a lot for 2bedrooms.. If I know US valuta right, I would have to pay, like, $400-500 for an apartement with 1-2 bedrooms, a kitchen and own bath.

Well I have a lot of problems at home that I really can't deal with for the next year-and-a-half. 2 bedroom apartments around here are about 700, 800 a month, and if me and my friend save up enough money to put in a down payment, we should be able to afford it. I'm gonna have my dad cosign the lease... and we might get a 3rd person to live with us too, pretty soon, cause our friend Jenn said she was moving out when she turns 18 which is pretty soon.

I didn't actually go to the prom -- I wasn't allowed to, since I got expelled from the school whose prom it was (but all of my friends go to that school). I didn't get as drunk as I have gotten in the past... on a 1-10 scale it was probably a 4. That's only because my "friend" who was supposed to be helping me put the after-prom party together while I financed the whole thing totally ripped me off, invited her friends and drank everything before the people who actually went to the prom even go tthere.
