When picking a movie/musical to re-soundtrack for this contest, I decided simply to go with the movie/musical I know the best, which resulted in probably the most obvious choice in the world: GREASE! I love that silly, kitschy piece of crap movie, and I have ever since I first saw it at the age of six and developed a crush on Danny Zuko. So here is my reworking of the Grease soundtrack (re-ordered, because for some reason the soundtrack doesn't follow the order of the movie).

The MLK Badge
John Travolta would have to be a giant klutz in order to sing Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground and not appear both badass and awesome.
Some great song selections, some obvious (The Pipettes), some not so obvious (Pavement, perhaps?), but it looks like a fun mix. I was very close to make a mix about Grease myself, but I'm glad now I didn't. I'm not sure the comparison would have been flattering.
