Another CD of 'international' music, this one featuring artists from various countries. There are doubles of artists from Norway (Sondre Lerche and Royksopp) and Australia (Ben Lee and Sia) because I just felt like the recipient had to hear those songs. Also, that way I was able to leave out the bad German/Dutch/Danish/Romanian techno and pop I was thinking about including.

	Hooverphonic = Belgian. I've had this song in my collection for years (4 or so) since a livejournal friend suggested the download. I then didn't have it on my new computer and one day received the compelling urge to download it again. I think a song that you remember years later for how evocatively beautiful it is deserves to go on here since they happen to Belgian. SHOW MORE

	Astor Piazzolla is Italian but was pretty much raised in Argentina, so I counted him as the latter. This is the shortest tango of his that I could still imagine dancing to. It's very fast-paced and a tad dramatically frantic in the middle but that adds to its appeal. Now for tango lessons. SHOW MORE

	DJ Bobo is Swiss, as am I. This alone merited a random download of what sounded like the worst track of his. It includes the lyric "we're gonna take you to another place/where pirates dance and come from outer space/no time to sleep, you can't be lazy/the party's started, let's go crazy". Recipient has said this is "the number 1 jam of summer". It makes me want to 1) dance and 2) dress up like a pirate. SHOW MORE
