You know how when you start a relationship, everything feels great, you make these promises, all that jazz? I mean, this is regardless of how the relationship ends up because it always happens. Maybe you keep the promises, maybe not. Maybe you lose the great "on top of the world" feelings, maybe not. This is a mixtape of those promises and feelings. Because that's where I am right now, and it's great.

I met this girl a couple days ago. And she's just amazing. Really cool. Knows who Son Volt and Wilco are and can debate whether Farrar or Tweedy had more talent in Uncle Tupelo. So this is my mixtape for her. And my falling hard and fast feelings for her.

I could never stop listening to any of these songs. Unless I witnessed a murder taking place with one of these songs playing. Or something equally awful.

Listing your favourite films is so damn hard so i usually just list directors, but i had to do it when i joined flixster. Apparently my top five are Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands, Blue Velvet, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Le Procès (The Trial) and Big Trouble in Little China. Strange mix, yes?
