I got my start as a DJ while I was in high school by making “pause button” mixtapes. It was natural for me to progress into turntables when I got the chance to DJ at the University of Missouri for the residence hall’s radio station and eventually rose to the title of Hip-Hop Music Director.

I used my growing skills to land a position as one of the DJs at a local nightclub/concert venue called The Blue Note and mixed for the weekly “Hump Night” event. I am now working as an event DJ and spin private parties and events when booked.

Techjitsu™ is a term/phrase/concept I invented to express my love for technology and the philosophy/culture of the Samurai. Because I am a bit of a computer geek, practitioner of several martial art forms, and veteran DJ/turntablist, I decided to combine all of these elements into a name that could express my philosophy. Techjitsu is my art [my method of DJing and creation].
