description:
Sometimes I contribute to an E-Zine called Tiny Mix Tapes. They have what's called an "Automated Mixtape Generator." Basically people can submit requests for mixes about anything that suit their fancy and "robots" will make the mixes for them. I'm a robot. Once in a while my fellow robots and I will swap mixes and this is "side A" of the mix I made. Since I reserve actual cassette tape mixes for people I really care about I just made two mix CDs and called them side A and side B. So sue me. There was no theme for this swap so I just made a mix of the songs that have been haunting me as of late.

So I figured I'd post what the kid I made this mix for had to say about it. I've had one too many glasses of Pinot tonight and my mom is getting married to an absolute douche bag tomorrow. I dunno, whatever.
"I really really loved these mixes. Songs that stood out for me were Neko Case, Matt Pond PA, New Bright Eyes (yes!), New Andrew Bird (YES!) and new Modest Mouse (YEEESSSS!!!). I realy liked the Dntel track too, and it was a blast from the past to ehar some Jets To Brazil on there! Not massively sure about the cover of Let's Dance though, but I don't really like the original too much anyway, and it may well grow on me. That is the only slightly negative point, because everything else was absolutely bleeding brilliant!!
