My reasoning for ridiculous song orders is this: IT'S TWIN PEAKS! Everything is crazy and unexpected and all over the place. I put everything in a nice flowy order and felt like it wasn't unsettling enough. Then I put everything in story-order and it was so funny and jolting that I decided to keep that version.
