Although school hasn't actually begun for me yet, with each day that passes, I can feel it getting closer and closer. Every year, as summer ends, I get that Sunday feeling. It's like my last bit of freedom before coming back from a really long weekend. In this case, a 3 month long weekend. This particular mix has given me a chance to reflect on the past 17 years of my life, and while not every song is about school, they all, in some way or another, remind me of the time I've spent there.

Okay, so these songs don't really have anything to do with starting a fire. I was at work talking to Debbie about music one day and she said to me, "Hey Katie, you should make me a mix so I'll know who you're talking about." Not wanting to disappoint, I got right on it. Unfortunately, I had to cut a ton of songs off because I couldn't fit them all on one disc. So how did I solve this problem? It's quite simple: make another one! These are the songs that I wanted to put on her first mix but just didn't have room for.

I made this mix for my puppy when I first got her because I couldn't get her to go to sleep at night. I found that when I played the right music, she would pass out right where she was. She doesn't really need it anymore, but now I can't sleep if it's not turned on. Originally, I had called it "Euthanasia" because the whole idea behind it was to put the dog to sleep every night, but really, that's a terrible name. So I changed it.
