Regarding Dan vs. Akuma, anyone familiar with Street Fighter knows what I mean. Dan, being the joke character, seems like an unlikely character to kick the much stronger Shin Akuma's ass. But dammit, Dan KICKS ASS!

This is for an as-of-yet unmade film, starring John Travolta. It revolves around a central cast of characters, and is not a "feel-good romp" like, say, Baby's Day Out, but more like a cross between Domino/Snatch (almost)/and... let's say the Aqua Teen Movie, because I laffed at that movie.
anyway, the plot is barely there (boom! there's the link to ATHF!), the writing is so-so at best, and the director is none other than America's favorite ginger... Richard D. James. (you thought I'd say Ron Howard? ok, I like him too)..

with each passing day, every person grows, metaphorically and physically. a few of these selections are strict love songs, but the growth is noticeable in each track, even if it may seem, at times, random, we're only human, and as the seasons change once again, I might not even like these songs anymore. time will tell.

one summer day in July, I was driving to my friend Max Freeman's house. We were on a mission (along with Sharp Woolston and Steven Turney) to go to Mountain Home, AR to see our friend Travis Keymer's band, Burn Baby Burn.
After picking up Sharp, we were on our way to Alpena (where Steven and Max live, about 15 minutes from town), when Sharp suggested we pick up Steven first. I had planned on getting Max, then Steven, but phuck it, I like Steven, why not pick him up?
At this point, Sharp and I had been listening to the Melvins '(A) Senile Animal', just gib-gazming at every drum turn. Then, I put in 'Sister' by Sonic Youth.
I was pulling into Max's driveway, right turn signal on, when Brad Carroll, a native of Carroll County, rear-ended me doing 60 mph. Sunuvabitch!! You know the part in 'Schizophrenia' by Sonic Youth when the drums are building up, and the guitar flips the fuck out?
It was during that part that he hit me.
Everyone else called another friend, Seth Hudspeth, to go to the show anyways.
Two weeks later, Burn Baby Burn came to Harrison, and I got to see them finally. It was worth it.

I bought a '96 Taurus ("untitled") a few days ago, and it has a tape deck. So I decided to bust out this baby, just one of those tapes you could constantly play.

All my friends want to listen to is either a Sabbath mix or The Meters 'Funkify Your Life' (disc 1), so I decided to make this little baby.
I'm proud of the pacing, and the overall vibe. So, here it is, for you to chill in your car, room, whatever. I recommend headphones.

I was perusing the internets, looking at various pornography, when I decided to stop by the ol' MTC. Seeing there was a NEW!! contest, I decided I would actually enter at a decent time.
I smoked a bowl, watched some Planet Earth (the Caves episode), then wrote in a three-ring binder the tracklist and a little description. A few changes were made.

This music is not important. My only wish is that I had not made this for you, but instead included a self-mix of all the best Vanilla Ice b-sides, and Milli Vanilli dub performed by a man in the Carribean only known as Tone Loc, Jr.
However, this appeared to be the better tape for such a capsule, because, hopefully, the magnetic band has already worn off, and disintegrated. Goddammit, music sure does suck! Especially this music.
(please dub over with copy of Orson Welles 'War of the Worlds' after completion)

I made this playlist, and it's about two hours long. I'll break it into a two-disc format, and I realize that I repeat two or three songs I've already used.
This serves it's purpose well: I drive to Springfield, MO and Fayetteville, AR quite a bit. They are both about an hour and a half from where I live, so I made this two hour mix to compensate for being stuck in traffic, slow drivers, etc.

Now they've decided I can't go out anymore _ever_ because I came home at 5 AM last weekend - the weekend owned up to it, though, I must say. If there are any film festivals around you at the moment, you should go see 'Zoo'. And be mildly drunk and mildly (it was nothing, really) high while watching it. Wo-ow.

I still haven't let my parents in on the missing phone. But my iPod was at my classmate's house, so it's all good. I looked at the Recently Played playlist, just to see if he had been going through my iPod while it was in his house this weekend, and turns out he had, ha ha. Some all-piano tracks, Lovage, Fedde le Grand... I don't know, it's just interesting, because I don't know him at all.
