Some music has a special place in my heart, can evoke a time or place when I think of it. That is not what we are about here. Here is music I first heard in my formative years that I still play today, because I still need to hear it. No more, no less.

1	Smokey Robinson & The Miracles : The Tears of A Clown
	I first heard this when I was a kid in the 60s, and I remember sitting by the radio hoping it would be played. As far as I was concerned it was a must at teenage parties. The song recording stayed with me, not out of nostalgia, but because it is just so good. Smokey has THE smooth soul voice, the backing music is perfection, and I hear this now and it is just as exciting to me as it always was. The keeper of keepers in many respects. SHOW MORE
