I really like the 311 cover of Love Song....and the Iron and Wine cover of Such Great Heights. I think that both groups captured different moods for the songs compared to the original recordings.

A Perfect Circle did a mashup combination of Ozzy's 'Diary of a Madman' and the Cure's 'Lovesong' at some of their early, early club shows. I kind of forgot about it until just now, but it's fucking amazing.

I'm going to venture out on a limb and say that 'All Along the Watchtower' is the best cover song ever.
Nice inclusion of the Lars and the Nirvana -- I wrote my 'Unplugged' CD out when I was a teen.
Only thing holding you back is inclusion of the Iron & Wine cover of 'Such Great Heights.' I despise that version, even more-so since it was part of the 'Garden State' soundtrack.

I don't really care for 311, but I actually think their cover of love song is pretty admirable. I still like the original more, but I think they did a better job than most other bands that have attempted...
