I know that it is September, and I know that I surmise that they might actually make Halloween mixes a contest, but I couldn't help myself today, so I made this Halloween mix.
While making this mix, I thought about what I would play at a Halloween party a lot. If I were popular enough to do that sort of thing, I would totally throw a Halloween party, but sadly I am... well, just not. And my house is always a mess, so that idea is out entirely. At any rate, I'll probably play it a lot in my new stereo in my newly restored very old car, which hopefully I'll have by the time Halloween rolls around.
ANYWAYS, the point is, this is the kind of mix I would play if I were DJing a Halloween party, as well as some of the more novelty hits such as "The Monster Mash", etc., but as far as it goes right now, I have an 80 minute time frame and I wanted the track number to be something Halloweenish. So there you go.
Furthermore (I know, long description), to clarify, not all the songs on this mix are of the genre "goth", if such a genre does in fact exist, although it does have more Bauhaus than I would have liked had I been able to help it. However, it must be taken into account that Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is track 5 and the catalyst for my assembling this mix. Therefore it can be categorized as a diversified Halloween-type mix of fun.
On with the mix, please.

So many times, Goth included, the dubbed "fathers" or "grandfathers" of a lot of genres don't claim that genre. Siouxsie Sioux thinks "Goth" is a joke. Birthday Party would have been nice. I've been working on a list like this for an FTOTZ mix I'll be sending out soon. Two songs by Bauhaus is "way too much"? I beg to differ. That is an odd expression. later.
